It seems as of tonight (1/17/2006) the window only shows up to about 160 pixels (height) of the webcam. Has anyone else noticed this happening to their webcam module?
Before tonight it was working just fine with the exact settings shown in this screenshot [www.utahadventurevideos.com].
Now it looks like this. [www.utahadventurevideos.com].
It doesn't matter if I'm viewing in Firefox or IE. Maybe it will work itself out by tomorrow? It's not the camera itself. I checked on it and the pictures are fine. It's as if the maximum viewable area of the module is now much less.
Re: "How to Configure Your Google WebCam Module...3. "URL of your WebCam": Here you must type the URL of your favorite webcam [it MUST end with a jpg, gif, png, swf (...) file]...Go to your favorite webcam page...right click the webcam image, select "Copy image location" and paste this link. "
I have tried to right click more than one webcam image, but never get "Copy image location" or a URL with the endings required. Please help.
Hi, like AMGAN, I was unable to figure out how to get the url of the webcam picture but I figured out an alternative method that works on my mac. I went to the webcam page and got the source code, then found the url of the webcam in it and pasted it in the address line.
!!!DIRECTIONS BELOW-READ THE BORING STUFF FIRST!!!
I am a little unsure about the updating feature myself. Mine do update, but it's kind of hit or miss. For sure if I hit "refresh" it updates 100% of the time, however when it's just sitting there on my home page, well then I am not so sure, although I could swear that I have noticed pictures change when I didn't hit refresh, but never would I swear to it!! That said, they way I did it is I right clicked on the web cam pic I wanted and then chose "properties" and then I right clicked on top of the URL Address and chose "select all". You will notice that it selects/highlights the entire URL. Now right click yet again and hit "copy" and then "paste" that into your webcam'S URL area. There is for sure probably a much easier way to do this, but it's the only thing I could figure out after messing around with it. Here is the URL for Piccadilly CircusLondon
Im trying to get africam.com leopard webcam to work but not having any luck. it seems too like every wildlife webcam that i like i cant right click it to get the URL or even properties. any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!
How can i add my web cam that is on all the time on my PC, to my Google pages web. the module is embedded ok. how and what do i need to link the live stream thanks

I can't see 'Create a Section' after I click 'Add Content' - any suggestions?
Can I put my own webcam on my Google Homepage? If so, how do I get the url or code for my webcam?
Thanks!
James
I don't see an "add content" area on the left side of my google personalized home page.
The module is not refresing the picture. Any Ideas? It is also not taking the module title. It still says "My webCam". TIA

I'm lacking a "refresh" option. So, I get to see the same photo unless I hit the arrow key to expand the box. Any ideas?
